Enter the size of your degree or diploma or certificate: Height x Width (in inches). Size of your degree or diploma that you intend framing is important to determine mat width & window size. All measurements must be in inches. Convert fractions to decimals. Example: 1/4 equals 0.25.

Your diploma or document will be covered by 1/4" (0.25 inches) on each side. The whole idea of matting is to place even more focus on the diploma or degree or art itself. Matting your artwork gives it room to breath and protection from the glazing and frame.

Size restriction: This framing option is only available for degree or diploma size of 12x16 inches or less.

A double mat consists of two mat boards stacked together, a top mat and a bottom mat.  The top mat has a larger window, which allows a small border of the bottom mat, called the reveal. Double mats create physical and visual depth.
